Joyce E. Hodges, 94, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her home in Iron City, Georgia, under the care of Integrity Hospice. Mrs. Hodges was born July 5, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan to Morris Singletary and Pearl Hutcherson Singletary.
She married William H. Hodges and had one son, William “Bill” Hodges and a daughter, Cheryl Tabor. She was a loving homemaker, devoted to her family. Mrs. Hodges enjoyed crocheting and made many baby blankets and afghans.
She is survived by her son, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 61 years; her daughter; a brother, Morris Singletary; and a sister, Nina Carless.
