Joyce Ann Hampton, 78, a resident of Tallahassee, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2015, with her loving family by her side. A daughter of the late Ernie and Catherine Benton Bloodworth, she was born April 8, 1937, in Thomasville, Georgia. She was an accountant with North Florida Medical and had resided here since 1946, having come from Thomasville. She enjoyed music, eating pork skins, embroidery and needlepoint, cooking and serving others. She also loved her high school class reunions. Above all, she loved her family the most. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Holice Hampton; sons, Curtis Winders and Mark Crowley; daughters, Barbara Curlee and Therese Winders; stepdaughters, Vicki Goodman and Tammy Lynn Hurdle; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Alvin Bloodworth and Allen Bloodworth, also survive her. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lindsey; and two sisters, Grace Spivey and Dot Brown.
