Josephine B. Keating, 89 of Milford, beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Keating Jr., died on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Marbridge Retirement Center in Cheshire, CT. Jo was born in New Haven, CT, graduated Becker College, and was a Milford resident for over 50 years. Jo worked at F.H. Woodruff Seed Co. and as an office manager for the New Haven Railroad.
She is survived by her niece Gwen Duffy and family; nieces Chris Moran, Ellen Cleary, Karen Cossaboom, Patty Cutonilli, Helen Rogal; nephews John and Robert Flanagan, Paul Keating and Tom Moran and their families; as well as being the adopted “Aunt” of Lynn, Scott and Sylvia. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Monahan.
Jo will be remembered as a bright, independent, caring woman, a strong supporter of the Milford Fine Arts Council, an avid reader of print, a skilled computer solitaire player and a great conversationalist.
