Johnnie Leigh Stane, 90, of Tallahassee, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Eden Springs Nursing Home. A daughter of the late James Hubert and Ines Gay Woodfin Evans, she was born November 27, 1927, in Pisgah, Alabama. Also preceding her in death is a brother, James Evans. She met her late husband, Fred Earl Stane, whom she married in 1958, at Wakulla Springs, while working for Ed Ball. She was a retired accountant at FSU, had a Bachelor in Music and was a high school band director. She is survived by her daughter, Gay (Billy) Allen; four nephews; one niece; and her beloved dogs, Hopper and Pepper.
