Jessie Pearl Revell Hewitt, 94, of Tallahassee, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born March 22, 1922, in Terra Ceia Island, Florida, to the late Aubrey Gwynn and Laura Ella Jones Revell. She retired from the Florida Department of Education and was a faithful member at Seminole Baptist Church since 1958. She is survived by her children, Craig Byron Hewitt (wife, Betsy), Judy Nauman (husband, Jeff) and Kay Michele Hewitt; grandchildren, Tiffany Hewitt-Brown (husband, Mike), Craig Byron Hewitt, II (wife, Tara), Saige Roberts, Clancy Hewitt (wife, Lynn), CB Hewitt and Lindsey Cooke Pawlak (husband, Rick); ten great-grandchildren; and a former daughter-in-law, Rosemary Havrilak. Also surviving is a brother, Ben Revell (wife, Barbara). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Byron Edward Hewitt.
