Janice Lynn Gay Ruis, 57, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on January 31, 2022.
She was born to James Gay and Marie Hanis Gay and enjoyed 16 years of marriage to her loving husband, Bobby Ruis. Janice worked as a dispatcher for years, both in Chicago and Tallahassee. She loved country music, Florida State University, and supporting the Thin Blue Line. She was also of the Assembly of God faith.
Janice is survived by her husband, Bobby Ruis; her sisters, Melanie Gay and Debbie Gay Yates; and her children, Nicole Smith and Christina Crump; grandchildren, Alexis Forbes and Emily Crump among other family and friends.
