Janet L. Edmondson, age 77, of Stratford, Robersonville, NC, and formerly a long time resident of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center, Shelton, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Edmondson. Born on June 22, 1934, in Niantic, CT, she was the adopted daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Sorenson Lobner.
Janet is survived by her six children: Joseph D. Edmondson, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Maryland; Jennifer Sussman and her husband Everett of Cheshire; Jeffrey Edmondson and his wife Lara of Milford; Joy Craig and her husband Matthew of Danbury; Jonathan Edmondson of Milford; and Jessica Guthrie and her husband Christopher of North Carolina; as well as fourteen cherished grandchildren.
