Janet C. Bushnell age 67, of Milford, beloved wife of Charles S. Bushnell III and loving mother, passed away, on Saturday, May 8, 2010.
Janet is survived by her husband and three daughters Lisa Davey, Karyn Nordstrom and Amy Love. She was also blessed with five grandchildren who loved her dearly; John, Charlie, Dylan, Emma, and Nate.
Janet was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Spanish and went on to complete her Masters at Rutgers University in Spanish Literature. Janet enjoyed a successful, 24 year career as a mathematics teacher at Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT. Given her love of Spain and travel, Janet spent her vacations travelling the world to exciting destinations with her husband Chet and translating for her family on these trips. She was very artistic and talented in quilting, knitting and crocheting. Janet was an inspiration as a wife, mother, teacher, and best friend.
