Jadena Beverly Tennell Martin, 39, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, while surrounded by her loving family.
A daughter of James Garland Tennell and Joan Howard Tennell, she was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 6, 1982. She moved to Tallahassee in 1989, coming from New York.
She was Procurement Specialist with the Florida Department of Transportation, was an avid movie buff, trivia master, a talented artist and writer, loved to cook, work with interior design, loved dogs and was also very talented in photography, especially with self-portraits.
She is survived by her parents; her husband of ten years, Leonard Dash Martin; brother, James Andre Tennell; as well as numerous friends she made along the way.
