Mrs. Iva Nell Parker Lankford age 90, of Summerville, GA died Tuesday April 4, 2017, at her residence.
Mrs. Lankford was born May 19, 1926, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Lesley Fletcher Parker and Pearl Mae Kinsey Parker. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Best Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lankford; son, Douglas Wayne Lankford; daughters, Barbara “Bobbie” Reese, Susan Rainey; brothers, Roy Parker, William Parker; sisters, Marion Stoker and Vinnie Mae Morris; and a grandson, Robert Franklin Wilson II.
Mrs. Lankford is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Alan and Rebecca Lankford; daughter, Donna Wilson; brothers, Kenneth R. Parker, Jackie Doyle Parker; sisters, Ernestine Ball, Carol Blalock; son-in-law, David Reese; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
