Hazel Loretta Sadler, 91, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 19, 2021, at the Big Bend Hospice House. One of nine children, she was born and raised on a farm in Centerville, Indiana on November 14, 1929, to Herman Anthony “Tony” Toschlog and Ethel Elizabeth Sittloh Toschlog, of blessed memory.
She is now welcomed into Heaven’s gates by her parents; husband of 48 years, Ray Edgar Sadler; sisters, Dorothy Mae Toschlog Bailey Teeter, Edith Toschlog Hunt and Helen Toschlog Weiss; brothers, Cletus A. Toschlog, Harold L. Toschlog and Carl B. Toschlog; brothers-in-law, Calvin Teeter, Bernie Hunt and Walter King; and sisters-in-law, Jeanne Toschlog, Anna Barbara Toschlog, Norma Toschlog and Ruth Toschlog.
Survivors include her children, Vicki Powell, Ronald E. Sadler (wife, Laurie), Jerry W. Sadler (wife, Nina) and Sheri I. Jessup (husband, Dennis); grandchildren, Amy, Shanna, Ryan, Kyle, Rachel, Andy, Deray and Dayne; great-grandchildren, Triston, Hunter, Ashley, Aden, Colton, Dustin, Braxton, Parker, Ava, Scarlett and Cooper; great-great-grandchild, Finleigh; siblings, Eileen King and Irvin “Bud” Toschlog. A brother-in-law, Robert Weiss, also survives. She moved to Tallahassee in 1971 and was a long time faithful parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She was an administrative assistant for the State of Florida for many years and enjoyed playing games, working puzzles, quilting, sewing, crocheting and loved to shop.
