Mrs. Hattie Cameron, age 62 of 2788 Lobelia Road, Vass, N.C. passed on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her residence.

Hattie F. Cameron is the daughter of the late Laura Jane Faulk and the late Birtie Leach.
Sister Cameron was a life long member of Oak Ridge AME Zion Church, having joined it at an early age. She served as President of the Deaconness Board, on the Usher Board, Sunday School Superintendent, a home mission worker, and a missionary.
Hattie leaves to mourn her death and celebrate her homegoing a loving husband, Ronald Cameron, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Yvonne Cameron of the home; and one son, Ronald Cameron, Jr. of Vass, N.C.; four grandchildren; Destin Cameron, Laura Cameron, Victoria Cameron, and Keyon Cameron of Vass, N.C.; one maternal sister, Lois Bethelene Forde of Edgewood, MD; one maternal brother, Richard Faulk of Carthage, N.C.; 8 paternal siblings and one brother preceded her in death, Birtie, Jr.; one aunt, Alma Faulk of Vass, N.C. and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins, other relatives, and friends.
