Mrs. Jean Cain, wife of Rev. Jim Cain, went to heaven to join her Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim; daughter, Cindy Crawford (Buddy), of Franklin, NC; son, Errol Cain, of New Orleans, LA; brother, Randy Roberson (Sandy), of Texas; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bert Cain and Paul Cain; parents, James Vernon Roberson and Velma Lee Adams Roberson; and two brothers, Roy Roberson and James Roberson. She was born September 18, 1934, in Kingsland, GA and was a dedicated and consecrated pastor’s wife for 63 years. She served as a soloist, pianist, choir director, Bible class teacher and a faithful worker in God’s kingdom. Jean assisted her husband in the building of seven churches, six educational buildings and five parsonages. She also served as office secretary. Jean was also a very talented floral designer and had owned several of her own shops. She also had an extensive career in banking. Above all, she was a tremendous homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
