Goldie Mae Gwozdzik, age 89, longtime resident of Milford and current resident of West River Health Care Center, beloved wife of the late John Gwozdzik passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven with her children at her side. Born on November 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Clara Edmunds.
Goldie was a devoted and loving wife and mother and she was an avid newspaper reader and enjoyed being current with the issues of the day.
She is survived by her cherished children, Linda and Edward Gwozdzik of Milford, her siblings Helen Belden and Richard Edmunds of Danby, VT and Harold Edmunds of Barre, VT and several nieces and nephews. Goldie was predeceased by her cherished son Michael and brothers, William, George Earl, Clarence and Donald Edmunds.
