Mrs. Francesca Irenes Lyles Stewart, age 51 of 607 Nixon Drive, Sanford, N.C. passed on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C.

Francesca was born August 17, 1958 to Charlesena Clarke and the late Francisco Torres in Paterson, New Jersey.
She was educated in Paterson, N.J. where she received her primary education and attended East Side High School.
She worked as a CNA for many years later to become an entrepreneur in the fashion industry. She began selling her designs in a flea market in East Orange, N.J. and later displayed her designs in numerous fashion shows throughout Irvington, N.J.
Fran was preceded in death by two siblings, Terrance Williams and Rona Torres.
She leaves to cherish her memories:her husand, Duane Stewart , five daughters, Marilyn Torres of Paterson, N.J., Allessandra Lowery (Lamont) of Greenville, N.C., Allicia Bennett of Sanford, N.C., Ruby Outlaw-Brown (Jason), Velvet McClurkin of Sanford, N.C., two sons, Rickey Bennett of Sanford, N.C., Charles Bennett of Charlotte, N.C.; seven granddaughters; six grandsons; and two unborn grandchildren; siblings, Allessandra Mitchell of New Jersey, Gregory Clark of North Carolina, Marilyn Fletcher of New Jersey, Jennie Torres of Maryland and Robin Scott of North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
