Frances Clark Schramm, age 93, of Oxford and formerly of Orange, beloved wife to the late George H. Schramm, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on August 10, 1918 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Henry Pierce and Clara Tatro Clark. Prior to her retirement, Frances was the Assistant Tax Collector for the town of Orange. She was a dedicated member of the Orange Republican Woman’s Club, the Holy Infant Women’s Guild and the Orange Business and Professional Women’s Association.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judith Grindrod and her husband Russell of Oxford, Susan Blanchette and her husband Andrew of Orange, four cherished grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
