Eunice Brinkley Daughtry Bauer, 94, of Tallahassee, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Moultrie, Georgia on June 10, 1924, to the late George Ealy Brinkley and the late Ruth Sloan Brinkley. Also preceding her in death are her husbands, Walter Lee Daughtry and Herman O. “Bud” Bauer; daughter, Lisa Leah Crawford; and siblings, Shirley Thomas, Hazel Harrell, Gardner Brinkley, George Ealy Brinkley, Jr. and Virginia Nix.
She had three passions in her life: her family, gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her children, Janice Carol (Larry) Brinkley and Michael Walter (Anna Maria) Daughtry; stepchildren, Gloria Freeman and Kathy Pilcher; grandchildren, Charles Lee Crawford (Christina McDonald), Jeannie (Zane) Shehry, Jami Lynn (Michael) Kliner and Maria Michelle Daughtry; great-grandchildren, Alliyah, Jade and Carsen; and siblings, Mildred Evers, Sybil Gregory and Johnny Brinkley.
