Esther Lorraine Arthur, 97, of Tallahassee, passed away on February 11, 2019. A daughter of the late Ralph Allen and Frances Campbell, she was born in Plattsmouth, Nebraska on September 14, 1921. Two sisters, Ula and Ione also preceded her in death. She married Russel Lee Arthur on September 14, 1939; subsequently, she dedicated a long portion of her life as the wife of a career Navy man. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2005. She was a dedicated homemaker, was passionate about painting, and always enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a deep spiritual faith her entire adult life, and her special love of God was always a source of strength. She had been a long-standing member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Patricia Brunson, Darlene Williams, Peter Arthur and Mary Moody; grandchildren: Jason Norfleet, Thomas Thomson, Ron Thomson, Russel Arthur, Maryanne Diggs, Robert Arthur, Bethane Hampton and Caleb; great-grandchildren: Natalie and Nick, Campbell and Peyton Marie, Elionna Rose and James, and Jonathan.
