Mrs. Elizabeth Anthony Hudmon, age 72, of Lanett, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the EAMC Hospital in Opelika.
Mrs. Hudmon was born in Valley, Alabama to the late Ervin and Rosa Anthony. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hudmon, and her brothers, Marshall Daniel and Lonny Daniel.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of River View, where she was a very active member.
Mrs. Hudmon is survived by her son, Mark Hudmon; grandson, Kyle (Brooke) Hudmon, Valley; great-granddaughter, Harper Rayne Hudmon; sister, Peggy Sellers, Opelika.
Mr. Hudmon worked for the City of Valley Parks and Recreation Department in numerous capacities prior to her retirement. She was a very athletic lady who excelled in softball and bowling.
She was loved by all of her friends and family. She held a special place in her heart for her family and friends, especially her son, grandson, and great-granddaughter.
She was an avid University of Alabama football fan.
