Mrs. Eileen O’Neill age, 79, of Milford beloved wife of the late George J. O’Neill passed away on Saturday February 6, 2010 at Milford Hospital.
Daughter of the late James and Mary Fitzgerald Walsh she was born on September 29, 1930 in County Kerry, Ireland. Eileen came to the United States in 1952 from Ireland and was one of the last immigrants to pass through Ellis Island. She was an assembler for Schick in Milford for 28 years before her retirement. She enjoyed wintering in Florida and summer camping in Maine. Eileen loved everything Irish. She will be greatly missed. .
Survivors include her four cherished children Francis O’Neill and his wife Davene of Shelton, Maureen Muldowney and her husband Michael of Milford, Ann Selander and her friend Roger Bernard of Milford and Theresa Rourke of Stratford; grandchildren Erin, Kevin, Tara (Sheehan), Casey, Kelly, Danny and Jimmy; three sisters Bridget Austin of Springfield, MA, Agnes Walsh of New York City and Margret Moriarty of County Kerry, Ireland. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas, John, Michael and Patrick Walsh.
