Mrs. Dorothy Williams Martin, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Martin; parents, Henry and Cora Pirkle Williams; sisters, Lois Cross, Ailine Williams, Lucile Cleghorn; and brothers, Barney Williams, Edgar Williams, Sr., Spurgeon Williams, Lindsey Williams.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Sims Payne, Dacula, GA, Stanley (Joyce) Martin, Maysville, GA, Melba (Edward) Brundrick, Lawrenceville, GA, Melinda (Stanley) Ewing, Gainesville, GA, Pam (Bob) Weir, Covington, GA, Mike (Debra) Martin, Maysville, GA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ernestine Duncan Williams, Oakwood, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Martin was born September 26, 1928, in Buford, GA.
She was a 1947 graduate of Flowery Branch High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Community Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
