Dorothy M. Hessinger, 84 of Milford, beloved wife of the late Oswald Hessinger passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born on October 15, 1926 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary Mazeika Kuraitis. Dorothy graduated from the University of Minnesota with her BSN and worked as a registered nurse for Veterans Hospital for 42 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for always putting others before herself.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Karen Kuchinskas and her husband Jonathan of Milford; one grandson Colton Jon Kuchinskas and two sisters Irene Kuraitas of Naugatuck and Ruth Schweitaer of Deep River.
