Dorothy Mae Bowers, 86, a resident of Fairfield, Ohio, walked through the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, February 02, 2021. A daughter of the late Cleveland White and Matilda Craft White, she was born in Greenville, Kentucky on October 9, 1934.
She retired from Chemical Abstracts as a Batch Operator Supervisor and was of the Baptist faith. A loving, caring and generous mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was exceptionally skilled in crocheting, knitting, needlepoint and arts and crafts, loved to travel and sight see, pull the handle on slot machines and enjoyed bowling.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Bowers; daughter-in-law, Katheryn “Kitty” Austin and is survived by her children, Michael Austin (wife, Clare), Ron Austin (wife, Yasmine), Dave Austin (wife, Joanne) and Gary Austin; grandchildren, Jared Austin (wife, Katie), Paige Austin, Michelle Austin, Ashley Austin, David Austin, Daniel Austin (wife, Alexis), Barbara “Barbie” Stewart (husband, Bill) and Heidi Austin; great-grandchildren, Courtesy, Cadance, Austin, Preston and Ethan. A brother, William White (wife, Clara) also survives.
