Mrs. Engelman was born on June 2nd, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Samuel Jacob Baran and Celia Beskin Baran.
She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She was a member of Temple Israel in Columbus, Georgia for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Engelman; son, Scott (Michelle) Engelman, Opelika; grandchildren, Blake Engelman, Auburn, Samantha Engelman, Opelika; brother, Mark Baran, Burke, Virginia; daughter, Robin Helton.
