Mrs. Dolores Ann Poe, 81, of Valley, Al. went to be with the Lord on June 8th, 2017.
Ann was born on January 12, 1936 in Denver, Colorado. After meeting her husband Johnny Poe she moved to the Valley. She spent many years working for West Point Pepperell before retiring. Ann was a faithful & long time member at Plant City Baptist Church. She loved sharing God’s word, reading her bible & sending cards & letters to make someone smile. She was also a devoted & selfless mother that loved & cherished the time spent with her children & grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James & Margaret Runyan, sister, Beverly Houston, son, James Daniel (Danny) Poe, and her husband, Johnny R. Poe.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Story, Denise McCarley, Deanna Smith, six grandchildren, Tabitha Landis, Adam Poe, Bryant Story, Colin Smith, Conner Smith, Amber McCarley, four great grandchildren, Gracie Landis, Danni Kayser, Landon Story & Paisley Story.
