Diane Fullerton Coker, 75, of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at EAMC-Lanier.
Diane was born on September 29, 1947, to Rhuel & Ethel Fullerton of River View, AL. She lived in River View all of her life until her health no longer permitted. She was a member of River View Baptist Church.
Diane attended River View School and Valley High School. After graduating high school, Diane married Elbert Coker in June of 1966. After their marriage, Elbert was deployed to Vietnam. Later that year, Diane’s mother and father unexpectedly passed away. Together they raised Diane’s brother, Corey. They were later blessed with two sons of their own, Brandon and Dustin.
She is survived by two sons, Brandon Coker & Dustin Coker; granddaughter, Everleigh Coker (Miles); niece, McCall Keeble (Trent); sister-in-law, Suzy Fullerton; sister-in-law, Reba Hamer (Pete); brother-in-law, Richard Coker (Shirley); sister-in-law, Carolyn Coker; brother-in-law, Billy Knowles and her best friend, Molly Coker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rhuel & Ethel Fullerton; her husband of 52 years, Elbert Coker; and her brother, Corey Fullerton.
