Christine Curnow Cass, 66, of Tallahassee, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls on October 4, 1952 to Joan Martin Bauer and the late Joseph Curnow, Christine lived much of her life in Webster, NY. She pursued degrees from Monroe Community College and RIT while working as a preschool teacher and staying active with her young family. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from RIT while working as a software engineer and project manager at Xerox. She retired in 2016 and moved to Florida to be closer to her grandsons. Christine enjoyed volunteering as a judge with FIRST Robotics, spending time with her family, and swing dancing with her husband. She is survived by her mother Joan Bauer; her husband of 45 years, John J. Cass; children, Maggie Cass (David Collins) and Brian Cass; grandchildren, Max Collins and Jude Collins; siblings, Linda (John) Blind, Joe Curnow, Karen Curnow, Michael (Jennifer) Price, Joanie Price, Mark (Kim) Price; stepbrothers, Bob (Lana) Price and David (Lisa) Price; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
