Mrs. Cecile S. Laney, 91, a resident of Huguley, AL passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.
Mrs. Laney was born in Randolph County, AL on October 9, 1929, to the late Pruett Stone & Estelle Taylor Stone. She was a founding member of Victory Baptist Church in Huguley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Laney (Cindy); sister, Sara Greene; brother, Bennie Stone; granddaughter, Jennifer Handley (Will); two great-grandchildren, Jack & Annabel; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.G. Laney, Jr. and her son, Donald Ray Laney.
Family and friends will meet at the gravesite.
