Mrs. Carol P. Raffone, 69 years old of Milford, beloved wife of Joseph A. Raffone, passed away on July 7, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Haven on June 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mary Mezzanotti Prete. She was a graduate of Stone College in New Haven and co-founded Rite-Way Alarms, Inc. with her husband Joseph. Carol was a member of the Network of Executive Women and a devoted communicant at St.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, survivors include two daughters Kristin Marie Raffone Vazquez Esq. of Salt Lake City, UT, Jeannine Marie Raffone Dwyer and her husband James of Lumberton, NJ, seven grandchildren, Carolyn Angel, Arianna, Sophia, Autumn, James Paul, Levi and Logan, a brother Frank Prete and his wife Catherine of West Haven, and several nieces and nephews. Everyone that met Carol became a friend. She was well liked and known for her smile. She loved her family above all else and loved sunshine, yellow and white daisies, the beach and collecting shells.
