Brenda Gail Herring, 49, of Havana, Florida died on September 6, 2021, at Capital Regional Medical Center with her husband by her side. She was born in Lake City, Florida on August 1, 1972, to Evon Cole Edwards and Dorothy Ferrell Edwards. Ms. Herring had lived in the Havana area for 48 years.
She was employed by Capital Health Plan Eye Care Center as a contact lens technician. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her great joy. She also loved to cook and was very good at it. Ms. Herring was a dog mom to Arizona, Lucy, Lu Lu, Sadie and Zoe.
She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her canine family members. Ms. Herring’s father predeceased her by only eight days. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Orris “Tad” Herring; sons, Damon Herring and Matthew Herring; grandchildren, Bella Herring and Damon Herring; and her five canine companions.
