Mrs. Blanche Beatrice Mezeke, age 84 of 3201 Apex Highway, Durham, NC passed on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Duke Medical Center, Durham, NC.
Wake: Tuesday, November 23, 2010, 7-8 p.m. at Reaves Chapel Church, Goldston, NC.
Mrs. Mezeke was maried to the late Willie Williams, and to this union four children were born.
Blanche was a devoted servant of the Lord and loved her church family. All her life she was a member of Reaves Chapel AME Zion Church. She was a member of the “Willing Workers”, President of the Senior Choir, Missionary Worker and later became a Deaconess.
She was a supervisor/inspector at Carolina Poultry Plant and also a retired UNC State employee.
She leaves to mourn; four children, Blanche Morgan, Billy Williams, Cora E. Hannah, and Bobby Williams, all of Durham,NC; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; one brother Alphonzo Womble (Etta), one sister, Betty Spinks, a sister-in-law, Nan Womble; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a special family friend, Brenda T. Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
