Mrs. Billie Wayne Weekes, age 76, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Weekes was born in Langdale, Alabama on January 28, 1941 to the late Washington Clyde Austin and Hazel Stewart Austin.
Mrs. Weekes was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church in Valley. She enjoyed volunteering each month at Callaway Gardens. Some of her interests included reading, representing Avon, and Avon products.
She and her late husband were former business owners in the Valley area. They owned and operated the House of Wheels in Valley and the Midway Café in Riverview.
She is survived by her children, Dwayne (Lori) Holmes, Valley, Dale (Paula) Holmes, Valley, Darren Holmes (Carol Jean Milstead), Tuscaloosa, Samantha (Billy) Miller, Valley; grandchildren, Elora Holmes, Brittany Christopher, Darian Holmes, Jarrod Holmes, Jonathan Holmes, Cori Cook, Seth Holmes; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Austin, Pat Meadows, Shirley Aaron, Randy Austin.
