Betty Sanford Watson, 80, of Tallahassee, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017, at the Big Bend Hospice House, after a struggle with lung disease.
Mrs. Betty Watson was born on March 1, 1937, in Largo, Florida. While attending FSU, she met the love of her life, Henry Wesley Watson, and began her career in Education. Mrs. Watson was a long time Algebra teacher at Godby High School. She was a long time member at Fellowship Baptist Church and Alpha Delta Kappa.
She is survived by her children, Mark Wesley Watson and Leann Watson Gay (husband, Matt); her sunshine granddaughter, Leanna Pearson (husband, Cole) and pride and joy grandson, Cole Wesley Brewer. She is also survived by her first cousin, Pastor Douglas Harrell (wife, Loraine). Preceding her in death is her husband, Henry.
