Mrs. Betty Lou Hancock, age 85 of 7l5 Primrose Lane, Sanford, N.C. passed on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Laurels of Chatham, Pittsboro, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Cotten and daughters, Dorothy McIntosh and Lillian Steele.
Betty enjoyed sewing and modeling and lived her life to the fullest.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons, Robert Cotten, Dennis Hancock (Judith), Lee Allen Hancock all of Sanford,NC, and John Hancock of Siler City, NC; four daughters, Hattie Lucas (Jerome) and Denise Satterfield both of Jacksonville, Florida, Janann Patterson and Aileen Hancock James both of Sanford, NC; a sister, Annie Mae Cotten of Goldston, NC, and a host of grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
