Mrs. Bernice “Bunny” R. Crowe, 102 years old, and wife of 70 years to the late Earl F. Crowe, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Gardner Heights in Shelton, Ct. Born in Bridgeport, CT on May 10, 1908, she was the daughter of the late William and May Reed Batchelor. Bunny was employed in the chemistry lab at Raybestos in Stratford until her retirement in 1969. She was a longtime resident of Stratford before moving to Gardner Heights in Shelton in 2005.
Survivors include her daughter Marylou Murray of Milford, two grandchildren Peter Murray and his wife Karen of Milford and Linda Murray and her companion Michael Walmsley of West Haven, three great grandchildren Megan Murray-Cabral and her husband Kelsey, James Murray and Daniel Murray and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Clyde Batchelor and two sisters Ethelyn Michelson and Bess Corson.
