Arla L. Bufkin, 77, of Tallahassee, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Arkansas on November 26, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Annabel Lovcy Baublit.
She retired as a Field Auditor Specialist with the Life Insurance Company of Georgia. Survivors include her son, Andy Faircloth; step-sons, Joe Bufkin and Donald Bufkin; grandchildren, Drew Faircloth, Ryan Bufkin, Philip Bufkin, Lucas Bufkin, Hunter Bufkin and Megan Matticola; great-grandchildren, Maggie Bufkin, Marilynn Stege and Timothy Stege; sisters, Alice Crosby, Athena Waller and Anna Waller.
Arla was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill. They shared a wonderful loving and caring marriage. Arla was extremely talented. She was very creative and spent time enjoying making flower arrangements, embroidering and other artistic endeavors. Arla was also a fantastic cook. But, she will be remembered most for her loving and sweet spirit.
