Annie Joyce Oder, 83, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Big Bend Hospice House, while surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Donalsonville, Georgia on October 17, 1938, she was a daughter of Jim Tom Faircloth and Bertha Lee Barber Faircloth, of blessed memory, and was raised by her beloved stepfather, Riley C. Hicks.
She is also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willie S. Oder; grandson, Dustin Martin; siblings, Ervin Faircloth, Ralph Faircloth, Hubert Faircloth, Larue Merkison, Dorothy Nell Anglin, Lottie Turner and Yvonne Lewis.
She had resided in Tallahassee since 1960 and worked for 30+ years for the Leon County Schools. She later worked for ten years in the Bakery at Publix.
Survivors include her daughters, June Bozeman (husband, Randy), Becky Hughes (husband, Lonnie), Debbie Smith, all of Tallahassee, and Sarah Martin, of Quincy; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
