Mrs. Annie Drusilla Kirby, 93, passed away at home on Sunday November 12th, 2017. Born February 28th, 1924, she was predeceased by her parents S. D. Newby and Lois Moore Newby and 9 brothers and sisters. She was widowed by two wonderful husbands William L. Kilgore and Marvin M. (Pete) Kirby.
She is survived by three children; W. Ron Kilgore (Kathleen), Jennifer Kilgore Brinker (David), and Deborah Kilgore Caldwell (Ron), twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Drusilla was born in Shawmut, Alabama. She was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church, where she was surrounded by precious, caring friends. Her love of family and friends was felt by all. Her devotion to God and her faith touched and inspired many.
