Anne Ruth Mitchell was born on June 16, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Robert and Jannie Mitchell. She was the sixth child of seven. Five of whom preceded her in death.

Two Sisters Mable Barden and Etta Mitchell. She also preceded in death by her godmother Daisy Daniels.

Anne gave her life to Christ. She joined New Hope Cathedral under the Leadership of Bishop RichardLeaphart-Mack and Synetra Leaphart-Mack
Anne attended Hoke Smith High School where she played basketball they called her Scooby doo because of her skills .she also ran track .After high school she worked as a supervisor for the banquet hall at the Westin Peachtree Plaza.
