Anne Connell Moon, 80, a resident of Tallahassee, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. A daughter of the late James Varney Connell, Sr. and the late Lou Vera Cornelius Connell, she was born May 28, 1936, in Nashville, Georgia. She was married to Ray Allen Moon, and he preceded her in death in 2011. Also preceding her in death are siblings, Wynelle Chandler, Bobby Connell and Paul Connell. Anne was a member of Seminole Baptist Church and had retired from the US Naval Base in Panama City as a Civil Service Employee. After retiring, she enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband. She is survived by step-children and their spouses, Donald Moon, Terry Moon, Deborah Cooke and Sandra Johnson; siblings, James Varney Connell, Jr., Evelyn Vera Connell Jones, Margaret Bailey, Jerry Connell, Janet Herring and William Connell. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
