Allene Faircloth, 79, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday evening, November 7, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
She was born December 2, 1939, in Colquitt, Georgia, to Willie and Eloise Miller. She was a longtime resident of Tallahassee. Allene was known as a very giving, strong, and outspoken person and always worked hard and provided for her family and others. She enjoyed cooking (the best southern fixins), gardening (loved flowers), fishing, dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, DeRenda Kaye Carter; son, Hubert “Buck” Faircloth Jr; five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Faircloth; father, Willie C. Miller; mother, Eloise Roberts Miller; brothers, Leon Cross, Ladon Miller, and Wayne Miller; sister, Carolyn Lynn; and grandson, David Dawane Carter.
