Alaska Faye Morgan, 87, of Crawfordville, peacefully passed away January 24, 2017, at the Big Bend Hospice House. A daughter of the late Henry Clay and Ethel Corean Andrews Vause, she was born November 1, 1929, in Crawfordville. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Paul E. Morgan; son, Tommy Morgan; several siblings; and son-in-law, George Lovett. She retired as administrative assistant at Fairview Middle School, enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, working in the yard, and loved reading her Bible. She was also a faithful member at Crossway Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Joe P. (Dana) Morgan, Richard Morgan and Paula Faye Lovett; grandchildren, Laura Faith Sullivan, Joseph Justin Morgan, William Davison Lovett, Mitchell Lee Morgan, Alisha Leigh Morgan and Danielle Merritt; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ray Wright, Ethel Vause, Henry Vause and D.R. Vause.
