Mrs. Farmer was born February 25, 1943 in Cherokee County, AL to the late James Posey and Florence Mae Dearing Johnson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. Farmer; son, John Farmer; grandson, Jesse Smith; siblings, Albert Johnson, George Johnson, Thelma Scruggs, Virginia Nichols, and Gladys Bentley; and nephew, Kenny Black.
Survivors include her sons, Frank (Carrie) Farmer and Matthew Farmer; daughter, Anita (Houston) Smith; sisters, Teresa Jan Black, and Mary (Hammond) Youngblood; and 3 grandchildren.
