Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughters, Sidiar Thornton, Valley, Connie Mower, Cusseta; sister, Clarice Stewart, Jasper, GA.; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Mr. Phillips was a United States veteran serving in World War II and the Korean War. He served with the United States Navy, the United States Army, and the United State Marine Corps.
He was an avid reader.
