William Monroe Keech, Jr., 63, of Tallahassee, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. A son of the late William Monroe Keech, Sr. and the late Erma Christine Key Keech, he was born in Tallahassee on August 16, 1957.
He is also preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Keech; and brother, Max Schweiger. A long haul truck driver, he worked for several trucking companies during his career, including Time Definite and Kottke Trucking. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the Florida State Seminoles and going to casinos. He loved his grandkids so much.
Survivors include his wife, Tanya Li Dailey Keech; sons, Derek Keech (Jessica) and Stacy Keech (Sian Bennett); Stacy’s mother, Paula Keech; step-children, Ron Curtis (Laura Gibbons), Ryan Curtis (Laurie), Joshua Williams, Brett Williams (Allyson), Steven Williams and Victoria Jackson; grandchildren, Austin Keech, Christian Keech, Aurin Keech, Alyssa Williams, Ember Jackson and Ryder Williams; sister, Shirley Whittington (Benny); brother, Cary Keech; as well as several nieces and nephews.
