William Jettson Phinazee, 59, of Tallahassee, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Capital Regional Medical Center, with his family at his side.
A son of Herbert Shannon Phinazee, of blessed memory, and Bertha Rosalind Purvis Phinazee, who survives, he was born in Fort Meade, Maryland on May 6, 1962. He was a plumbing service technician, and enjoyed fishing, car races and music.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Katie Lewis (husband, Jeffery) and Taylor Short (husband, Steven); grandchildren, Jackson Crow, Tanner Crow, Laken Kyle, Rylan Harrison, Reese Harrison, Matthew Short and Wesley Short; brothers, Russell Phinazee and Mike Phinazee (wife, Kathy); nephew, Robert Shannon Phinazee; niece, Aryana Phinazee; and uncle that was like a brother, Billy Dean Phinazee (wife, Kim). He is also survived by his faithful fur-ever canine, Chevy.
