William (Bill) J. Keenan, age 91, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of the late Doris M. Laux, passed away on October 13 at Milford Hospital. He was born December 12, 1919 in New York City to the late Francis Keenan and Catherine Dolan.
William is a World War II veteran and had a very successful career as an Allstate Insurance Company Honor Ring Agent.
William was a member of St.
Bill (aka Dad) will be sorely missed by his three children, William Jr., and his spouse, Shirley; Karen, and her partner Francis Brogan; and Maureen, and her husband, Alan. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren will also miss their “Pa”. Other family members and friends survive. Always with a song in his heart and a lilt in his step, Bill left his world a better place than he found it due to his indomitable spirit, love for life, and kind, endearing way with people. He was the ultimate “gentle” man, who revolved his life around his family.
