William Frank Adkins, 86, a resident of Tallahassee, joined his loving wife, “Babe” and peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on December 14, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Foister and Lillie Clark Adkins, he was born July 21, 1930, in Genoa, West Virginia. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Rena Mae Rednour Adkins “Babe”; and a brother, Richard Adkins. He faithfully served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and has resided in Tallahassee since 1970, having come from Cleveland, Ohio. Along with his wife, he was a devoted member of Calvary Tabernacle. He had retired from the City of Tallahassee as a mechanic. He is survived by his children, Jonathan (Barbara) Adkins, William S. (Lisa) Adkins, Susan (Bill) Kerber, Kathy (Joe) Perella and Debbie (Paul) Busciglio; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Adkins. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
