He is survived by: one son, Bobby Smith, Pamplico, SC; three sisters, Ms. Betty Smith, Ms. Gladys Smith, and Mrs. Pecola James; four brothers, Mr. Sam Smith, Mr. Learnest Smith, Mr. Woodrow Smith and Mr. Steve Smith; a very special step-daughter, Mrs. Beatrice P. Edwards, who was also his caretaker; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
