Mr. William A. Soulier, Sr., age 87, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia McKiernan Soulier, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Milford Hospital. Born on May 1, 1923 in Chicago, IL to the late Frank G. Soulier and Frances Andrae Soulier, he was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. William served with pride and honor during WWII in the US Marine Corps from 1942 to1944 and the US Navy from 1944 to 1946. He retired as a contract administrator for the former Avco-Lycoming and earlier had worked as an assistant store manager for H. L. Green in Bridgeport. He was a devoted parishioner of St.
In addition to his wife Patricia of 54 years, survivors include his children, Jean Axtell and her husband Jim of Milford, William A. Soulier, Jr. and his wife Beth of Prospect, Paul T. Soulier and his wife Joy of Oakland, CA and Joseph E. Soulier and his wife Carol of Milford. Also ten loving grandchildren Megan, James, Scott and Ryan Axtell, Emily, Kiley, Alex, Elise, Zack and Hayley Soulier and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Duffy and a brother Frank Soulier.
